Dr Barrowman has a special interest in orthopaedic surgery and has been fixing broken bones and torn ligaments in dogs cats rabbits and birds for several decades.
We have a very comprehensive range of brand new orthopaedic surgical equipment including a Stryker drill, Stryker pin drivers and a Stryker oscillating saw.
We regularly receive orthopaedic cases from other veterinarians throughout the North Island.
In addition, Dr Barrowman has a very close working relationship with a registered orthopaedic specialist surgeon and another very experienced orthopaedic surgeon residing in Auckland.
Cruciate repairs (TPLO), fracture repairs and arthrodesis surgery are just a few of the orthopaedic surgeries that Dr Barrowman performs regularly.
